Call Me Towhee

Towhees are interesting busy little birds. They noisily shuffle through dried leaves in search of tasty tidbits. They are named for their song, though it sounds like a phone ringtone to me. This one hops along a mossy branch to cross a rushing stream, a drippy bird bridge! This painting is watercolor, graphite, charcoal, and black colored pencil with metallic effects.
