Coopey Falls Miniature Painting

This scene is on private property, up a hill behind a very cool spanish style villa in the Columbia River Gorge. I hauled my not so light cart of painting stuff up that hillside trail and painted this portrait of the lower falls. The water sang in the natural hollow created by its own flow. There were birds singing too, wrens and nuthatches. I kept looking over my shoulder for bears, or maybe bigfoot!
