River Run Acrylic Painting

Harlequin ducks nest in mossy banks on turbulent mountain streams. They spend the rest of their year on the coast, riding the surf. They migrate to and from their nesting areas following the rivers and streams. They are my favorite species of waterfowl, both for their incredible beauty and for the way they fit perfectly in their very challenging habitat.
